B Light at Dubai Mall

The Dubai Mall is located in the heart of the prestigious Downtown Dubai, facing Burj Khalifa, the highest skyscraper in the world. The Mall is the world’s largest and most-visited retail and entertainment destination and welcomes more than 80 million visitors annually. The internal floor space is 5.9 million square feet; there are over 1,300 retail outlets including two monumental department stores, Galleries Lafayette and Bloomingdale’s and over 200 food and beverage outlets.

The luminaire chosen to illuminate the outdoor area of the mall is BASTER X1, a recessed IP67 downlight with adjustable light distribution. B LIGHT’S design is clean and simple construction of its luminaires. The fixture and flange are made with turning and milling aluminum, the reflector is in polycarbonate and has a protective glass.

BASTER X1 is equipped with an internal driver that controls electronically the operating temperature and guarantees that the fixture will last with ambient temperature up to 60° C / 140° F.
