Cypress Creek Fire Station
Project Summary:
To improve the safety and well-being of firefighters, single-mode Indigo-Clean disinfection lighting was installed in the recently constructed fire station at the request of the Fire Marshall.
Challenge:
In a very busy facility that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, increase cleaning procedures and decrease hazardous viruses and bacteria.
The two products that use Indigo-Clean technology as a solution are Stratalume ConnectsTM MAUCLED task lighting and MedMasterTM MDL downlights.
Benefits:
- When the lights are on, it kills dangerous bacteria and viruses, such as SARS-CoV-2, influenza-A, and staph, such as MRSA;
- Disinfects with visible light at the flick of a switch;
- Is inexpensive to install and simple to use;
- Is entirely safe for building occupants.
