San Francisco Airport Parking Garage
Project Summary:
In compliance with the California Energy Efficiency Strategic Plan, the 1.2 million square foot San Francisco long-term parking garage 2 is a Zero Net Energy (ZNE+) building. The 3,600 spot structure increases SFO’s long-term parking capacity and is predicted to provide a 287% energy surplus using the newest technologies, including lighting and controls.
Challenge:
Installing high-efficiency, high-efficacy lighting that could be supplied on time and within budget was a challenge.
